Engineers Club Wedding
Lisa and Zachs Engineers Club Wedding in Baltimore, MD was such a fun and beautiful event. I had been looking forward to being reunited all year after our lovely NYC engagement session. My 1st time chatting with Lisa about the possibility of documenting her day was after hearing back from her on my way out of town to Melbourne Australia. We scheduled a call and although time zones apart we connected and I had my fingers crossed she liked me as much as I did her. Thankfully we were a MATCH and I had the amazing privilege of documenting their day.
Lisa and Zach had been together for many years so this day was very exciting for their friends whom had watched their friendship turned romance. Watching their families interact on their wedding day it was clear they already were family after the years of vacations and family dinners. They both are quirky and sophisticated and super approachable and kind. They are super playful couple and a great balance to each others personality.
When I arrived I couldn’t wait to see them. Lisa at this point already felt like a friend. When I arrived I was greeted by Lisa her amazing sister-in-law’s, mother in law, grandmother and mom. Loved the time we had for getting ready photos to really capture them both interacting and getting ready to see each other for the 1st time.
The weather had been awful that week and it was a mixture of massive humidity and some very precarious cloud cover. Thankfully we scooted up the 1st look by 30 minutes and had absolutely beautiful weather before the skies opened up and POURED!
Lisa and Zach opted out of having a bridal party but still included many of their close friends in candids and group photos throughout the night. Since we did not have a bridal party to photograph we had so much time to take beautiful portraits of the two of them all over Mt. Vernon and the Engineers Club.
During the ceremony Zach and Lisa were escorted down the aisle by both of their parents.. They also included their love of craft beers into their ceremony- which was such a wonderful touch. After their ceremony the doors opened to the most exquisite reception layout. Between the beautiful architecture of The Engineers Club and the decadent florals and creative stationary I was literally jaw on the floor. Ann’s Garden and Studio Eighty Seven (Have you seen Natlaie’s artwork??) outdid themselves. The day was flawless and ran perfectly thanks to Nouvelle Weddings.
Lisa and Zach I am so happy that you found each other and am so excited for your marriage. Thank you both for being so thoughtful and kind to me. I will never forget being welcomed to NYC by two cupcakes and a sweet note quoting Taylor Swift. I have had so much fun getting to know you and please know you are always welcome in Seattle!
